i had one of these mostly done a while ago but ended up scrapping it and redoing everything.
so, art style challenge by me, featuring newy!
aside from those artists that represent canon styles, i wanted to pay homage to artists that seem to get very little attention, arent part of the main friend groups, etc.!
i also did fullbodies for these because i hate myself.

I wanted to draw some mutals’ OCs and so I figured. What the heck? Why not just make another one of these small collection of busts of OCs my mutuals have. On the other end of the spectrum, then, what about 🖊 Mew? As a species and as an individual? Is the Mew from the movie the "parent" or some other specimen? Are they the only one or are there many?

Oh yes I do have a mew! Is on the design process still, but here hows some ideas how hes looking so far, i wanna capture that weird fetus inspiration from their first gen1 sprite!
It can emote it just has eeper eyes and the one in the middle works to look at his surroundings, the eye symbols the psychic type so i wanted to make it more obvious on mew.
In this AU Dr. Fuji is TM2’s parent, Or atleast the only one he considers his Father to heart. But even if it theres evidence for mew to also be considered the parent they just both perceive each other as just having the same DNA… thats it. Although, TM2 Doesn’t have any harsh feelings for mew’s presence, Mew is just as playful and curious as ever just like he is in the movie: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. (The tree of life is canon in this AU!)
TM2 understands how important the existence of Mew is so they both still have some synergy going on.
So far there’s only one mew, but honestly I don’t think TM2 will be too worried if there was the case of other Mew’s around. They are mythicals after all.

To answer: The jacket (or well trenchcoat to be more on point) could’ve possibly been made by his own hand, It’s very hard to find anything up his size since he’s twice as tall as a mere human, I think he has a sense of style enough to figure out and design how he wanted his own disguise to be
The tenchcoat is part of a bigger disguise I have yet to design on, he’s basically a very long tall man thats covered from head to toe with gloves, hat, shoes and everything… kinda scary.

HONESTLY I did had some very old ideas of making my own M16 but so far… no. I don’t have plans for it but maybe in the future if something tickles an inspiration to kick a M16 design hell yeah I will.
BUT hear me out, at the same time I do have a reason why a M16 wouldn’t exist in the same space as TM2 simply because he will absolutely not tolerate their existence, at all, and will eradicate them.
His backstory is heavily inspired by Toshihiro Ono’s Mewtwo strikes back Prequel manga - so the idea alone of acknowledging other Mewtwo clones is just an aberration, so him being the only one he has given himself the mission to be the barrier for humans to ever do something like that ever again.
His father regretted it so much that he’ll do anything to keep his wish alive by never allowing the clone army to ever be a reality, he honestly dreads it so much.
He will perceive other Mewtwo’s as nothing but Bioweapons that he has to take care of.
TLTR: TM2 will absolutely blow up another Mewtwo’s head off
